Of course it would hurt. But I have no intention of babysitting someone of his standing. What he is doing with Kira is selfish and dangerous and I've told him that. He shouldn't assume just because I brought that up I'm going to take measures to keep him safe. There wasn't a single lesson at Whammy's instructing us to depend on the people around us for security. L died because he was banking on the humanity of others. No one protected me and I only died because I chose it.
