the airfags drama is a little confusing for me, what's your ultimate goal for the sky blah blah whatever?

Oh, there's never been a goal. We're just pent up birds, looking for a way to escape. It's the same now as it was when we were first created. Back then, it didn't matter if the sky above us was poisonous. If we stayed in that place any longer, we were going to be killed. See, while Simca and I might seem like unstoppable AT users compared to the everyday rider, we and the others were the worst of the genetically engineered breed. The scientists had decided to get rid of us. Kilik, one of the successes, discovered this and offered to save us. They had told us there was no sky for us then too, but we made a road up towards it anyway. That blue didn't destroy us, but enveloped us forever. And now we're underground again.

We're just repeating that first battle. I feel like this sky might be the one that will kill us, but it isn't up to me to decide these things anymore. I guess now that I'm older I've become more afraid of putting my friends in dangerous situations.
