5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
I live with Kotaru-sensei, but Gau and I mostly live in the tent in the main room. Kotaru is an established samurai where he was from and Gau is Gau.
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
Yes, but probably not for me.
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
Paper-making, revenge, go. I'm not very good at cooking.
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
Gau. I haven't always been able to protect him and I know he'd be safer away from me, but I need him. Someday I'll be strong enough to let him go or make him go or just not come home somehow. I keep telling myself that, but I'm not sure when it will happen. I think eventually he'll want his own family and I'll have to disappear. I'll still look after them, but I'm not worth waiting for? I don't know how else to explain it. He's better without me, someday we'll both understand that. Until then I need him.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
I destroyed the Shimizu clan with my own hands. It was a purge. I want to clan to be reborn, but it's important not to forget what became of them because of me.
Sitting with my father when he wasn't as sick as was later. He was never really healthy but I remember him sitting tall and holding me and cicadas. It must've been just before Raimei was born, so the summer?
42. What are your religious views?
I'm not sure? I think believing in your own abilities is more important. I believe in the world of Nabari and the power it could have over the normal would if we aren't careful. I believe in Miharu.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
My mother and I never got along, as far back as I could remember. My footwork was too sloppy, my swings uneven, my voice too quiet. There was always something. My father was really too sick to fight with. Raimei and I were friendly enough, but she was a lot younger than me. It makes me sick, but I was probably closest to my uncle.
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?
Like I said in the last answer, probably being around my uncle. I actually enjoyed school a lot once we started going. I used to like training, but mother took that away after enough time.
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
