I'm supposed to be more open with my feelings. I thought I was an open book before, but apparently the therapists think I'm "holding back". Nobody ever gets past the whole lying champion shtick. Everybody figures I've got some hidden depth cause they thought I was some crybaby loser. Why can't this just be the real me?

A low one? I don't know, whatever being a Victor makes you, some kind of murderer turned celebrity turned rebel turned nothing.

I don't have enough stuff to be messy, but back before.. Messy? I guess, I didn't really care about keeping things really tidy or whatever. When somebody's like my dad was there's better stuff I should've been doing. I guess I can keep thoughts organized but I'm not into like, cleaning stuff up.
60. How close are you to your family?
They're dead now, but I don't know. Not much. I don't remember my mom that much and Levi wasn't any closer to me than anybody else. Bachur and I never got along and even if I thought he was smart sometimes he screwed up enough. Killing yourself doesn't make all the dumb stuff you did magically okay.
I did so much for my dad and he barely even looked at me. So no. I wasn't close to anybody and nobody ever liked me. So what?

No one. I mean, that's the point, isn't it? If we want to be free then we can't have those people. I guess if she was doing something really stupid or it looked like everything we worked for would get messed up, I'd take a bullet for Katniss. That sounds more heroic than it actually is, it's not because I care about her. She's just more important than me.

51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?
Fucking people for secrets? I don't do things I don't want to. Why is that so hard for people to figure out? Why would I spend all that time killing people with my bare hands just to let some guy fuck my throat? People like Finnick probably see it like punishment or something, but I don't care. All of those kids would've killed me too. Simon would've cut out my throat, someone else would've drown me or watched me choke on my own blood, so what does it matter what I did? I wanted to win, so I won. I don't want to sleep with losers so I didn't. Whatever happened after that is Snow's doing, it's the Capitol playing with me after I got out. So who cares.
59. What do you look for in a potential lover?
What kinda question is this. Somebody strong. Someone who knows when I want to be alone which is honestly all the time lately, so what's even the point of asking? Somebody who doesn't expect things out of me. Someone who doesn't want kids. Someone who doesn't feel sorry for me or try to make me feel safe or know that I'm loved or whatever. Someone I never need to tell anything to and who never tries to tell me anything I don't want to hear.
Clearly someone who doesn't exist.

"Nobody likes me"? "Not very great"? "Actually not crazy"! I could do this all day.

This sucks.. I don't know! I thought- I liked a lot of stuff. Not really sports. I liked swimming, we lived in this neighborhood that had a community pool and mom and I used to sneak in there cause she couldn't afford the membership fee. I used to swim a lot. I liked reading and playing with electronics, trying to invent stuff. I had friends but I don't remember faces. Probably because none of it was real, huh..
66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
Depends on the person? I mean, I'll fight all day with an asshole like Xavin, but I'm not gonna argue with Gert or Nico any longer than I have to. Some people.. it's too exhausting to try and talk them down or reason with them? Usually I try to hide from those kinds of fights.
79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?
Weirdly, I'm kinda getting used to Nathan now, so apparently nothing anymore.
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
To be honest, I actually don't sleep that much? It's not just the nightmares, once I figured out what I was the whole thing seemed kinda.. pointless. I mess around on the net mostly, torrent stuff, listen to music. Nothing weird, its just like- I don't need to sleep as much as other people, so why fake it?
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
It was just me and my mom. I dunno, it never really happened, what's it matter. Why would she make up me NOT getting along with her, right? She wanted to make the perfect robot son, so yeah. We got along great. Except for the whole lying to me my entire life thing and then getting burned alive in front of me, sure. We got along perfectly.

I don't believe so. I think I'm quite open-minded, given my own circumstances. I suppose I have a potential to judge those who may have previously been involved with criminal elements.

I haven't really. considered it.. i-I'm trying to think of basic concepts and character traits, but someone specific tends to come to mind instead.
Someone who is confidant with who they are.

ummm ME! Pope John Paul. LECH WALESA!!! Dabrowski. They're all really strong and they loved me and all our people and they fought to keep poles safe and free. Dabrowski let me wear a hussar helmet sometimes! It took me a while to meet the Pope and he just treated me like some kid but I could like totally tell he thought I was the coolest out of everybody.
Lech would've died for me a billion times but I'm really really really glad he didn't. I don't want him to ever die. It's been.. like, a really long time since I like felt that way about a person.

I know I say like IM IN NATO and IM IN THE EU and like that stuff. but the truth is if something awful happened again, nobody would help. I mean, i guess thats like the lesson from the whole shebang, right? Everybody says like oh it shows the atrocity of war, theres no limit to the suffering human beings can cause each other. That i'm invincible!!
But i guess like what i learned was nobody will save you. I always kinda knew it but I figured somebody out there would keep their word eventually. But they don't. If it happened again I dunno. I'd survive duh but if there's nobody helping me, I don't know if that's a good thing sometimes.

I don't know, normal? We had more kids than most families, but that got taken care of soon enough, right?
It was nice. I think we used to have picnics. Nobody'd believe that if I told them though, so what's it matter. Once everybody started dying my life was just as miserable as everyone else's.
17. How much schooling have you had?
Technically you're supposed to go to school until you're 13, but after Levi died I didn't really see any point. I don't know how it works in other Districts, but I figure it about the same.
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?
I don't mind having plans as long as people include me in them. I'm not Peeta, I'm good with keeping to strategy.

I live with Kotaru-sensei, but Gau and I mostly live in the tent in the main room. Kotaru is an established samurai where he was from and Gau is Gau.

Yes, but probably not for me.

Paper-making, revenge, go. I'm not very good at cooking.
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
Gau. I haven't always been able to protect him and I know he'd be safer away from me, but I need him. Someday I'll be strong enough to let him go or make him go or just not come home somehow. I keep telling myself that, but I'm not sure when it will happen. I think eventually he'll want his own family and I'll have to disappear. I'll still look after them, but I'm not worth waiting for? I don't know how else to explain it. He's better without me, someday we'll both understand that. Until then I need him.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
I destroyed the Shimizu clan with my own hands. It was a purge. I want to clan to be reborn, but it's important not to forget what became of them because of me.

Sitting with my father when he wasn't as sick as was later. He was never really healthy but I remember him sitting tall and holding me and cicadas. It must've been just before Raimei was born, so the summer?

I'm not sure? I think believing in your own abilities is more important. I believe in the world of Nabari and the power it could have over the normal would if we aren't careful. I believe in Miharu.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
My mother and I never got along, as far back as I could remember. My footwork was too sloppy, my swings uneven, my voice too quiet. There was always something. My father was really too sick to fight with. Raimei and I were friendly enough, but she was a lot younger than me. It makes me sick, but I was probably closest to my uncle.
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?
Like I said in the last answer, probably being around my uncle. I actually enjoyed school a lot once we started going. I used to like training, but mother took that away after enough time.

I don't know, nothing. Moving into the new house? I don't know when the real ones start and the fake ones end, to be honest. I just figured she probably had to move to keep neighbors from asking why she suddenly had a kid, so maybe then yeah. When we moved into the house I lived in until they found me. Maybe that one?
